Play the latest games or popular cult games.
Either be really really good or absolute rubbish (in a funny way).
    Develop a USP.
    Develop patience.
Think of it as a 'product' and think 'What would make someone buy my stuff rather than somene else's'.
    Solve that, youve cracked it.

What's the best way to record commentary?
    What do people use?
I have XSPLIT GAMECASTER AND BROADCASTER, ELGATO, AUDACITY but find it complicated to align the mic with cam and cam with gameplay. Not sure? Should I just record altogether the gameplay?

Also, streaming, how do I set this up correctly?
    Twitch it YouTube too? :)
Just want to get my work seen!

Thanks for any advice given in advance.

It depends on your preference and gameplay really.

What I did for walkthroughs was record audio alongside gameplay. I used audacity for voice and elgato for gameplay. You can also use elgato for voice and have it embedded in the gameplay or as a loose file, but I found it a hassle to convert it and then edit it in audacity.

For commentary on almost all other vids I just did commentary afterwards. It's apparent why I would do that on my vids. The exception was roleplay vids where I first had to edit the gameplay and then record my voice

    Thanks for that advice XDonny
It's confusing how I want to do it
I've had it record and export gameplay, webcam and commentary separately from Elgato, I have had it altogether from Elgato. Used OBS, XSPLIT GAMECASTER and Broadcaster.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts with my newest upload!
