There are many people out there that thought the Xbox One X was liquid cooled. Well that would be impossible as the liquid would need to be constantly topped off. Much like your coolant in your car, it needs to be topped off with every oil change. Also it would need a radiator and a water pump...

Care to explain how it works or is it just a big heat sink ?

    Sure man.

Basically there is a small amount of liquid that is vacuum sealed in to the chamber. That liquid will turn in to a vapor and then back to liquid form where it will release the heat. That process will repeat over and over. Vapor to liquid, vapor to liquid, and so on.

This still requires a large fan to keep the console cool. That is the main source of cooling with the vapor chamber being used to ensure no over heating.
